On a trip “up north” we were staying overnight in Canal Park in Duluth. We took a morning stroll down the Lakewalk when I looked out at Everyone’s Favorite Lake. I was surprised at how tranquil everything looked and fascinated by them horizon melting into the skyline. I snapped a quick photo and liked it so much it’s now hanging in my bathroom to add a little “unexpected tranquility” to my day.
