What can I say? I’m a Minnesotan and an aspiring artist, so it’s inevitable that I would eventually try my hand at… Crop Art! This small piece was the result of an afternoon workshop taken with my intrepid sister, Barbigrrrl, who doesn’t consider herself artistic in the least, but nonetheless is usually willing to take a class with me. Crop art is essentially a mosaic, which I also have experience in, so I may take a shot at a larger piece at some point in the future. (I think the most difficult thing for me will be making sure that all my seeds plants meet the State Fair’s Minnesota crop criteria.)
